THERMICO is looking forward to see you on the 2009 International Thermal Spray Conference and Exposition: Discover Nano
Strategic Partnership for developing and commercializing coatings technology together:
– Nanostructured submicron oxide powder materials
– Tailored powder materials prototyping
– Ultrafine cermet powders <10 μm and NANO HVOF coatings
– Thin film axial plasma slurry coatings
– HVOF internal WC-CoCr nanostructured coatings for demanding internal diameter applications such as landing gears or high performance pumps
– Coatings Development and Systems support for NANO HVOF and Axial Plasma together in North America and in Europe
– Fully integrated Turnkey Systems Installations
– Coming in Fall 2009, NANO HVOF ID Coatings Development Booth at Northwest METTECH, Vancouver facility
After 2 years of staying away, Thermico is attending to the » ITSC 2008 in Maastricht again. Many innovations e. g. HVOF-Internal spraying with ultra fine powder have been developed. Thin coating thicknesses and outstanding characteristics qualify this process for being economical and innovative. In combination with the gravimetric powder feeder for standard and ultra fine powder, very precise feeding rates can be adjusted and realised. In this year Thermico will hold a dissertation about his latest developments. Come and visit us on our booth.
The operator may set the feed rate and the interval by himself. The visualisation was specifically developed so that the various ramps can be set individually. This machine was especially developed for parts which need different coating thicknesses without terminating the process.
On the 1st of March 2007 the General Manager of Thermico GmbH & Co. KG will represent North Rhine Westphalia before an EU Committee to refer about his experiences regarding EU Research Projects. The Main Focus lies on the research in Nanotechnologies and its positive effects on Thermico. As a successful project partner in the 5th Framework (Nano-HVOF) and 6th Framework (NADIA) the course is set for the 7th Framework regarding Hard-chrome replacement through nano structured carbide coatings. Well known representatives from the turbine industries build a consortium together with Thermico.
